Odd Hours

Odd Hours by Dean Koontz came out on May 20th. As a big fan of the Odd stories, I need this book. Odd is one of my favorite Dean Koontz characters in the history of them, and he's my favorite writer so I've read a lot of his books. I also had no ideas that the website had Odd webisodes, which I discovered while trying to find out when I'd be able to get my hands on a paperback copy of Odd Hours, seeing as I have Odd Thomas, Forever Odd and Brother Odd all in that form and I feel that having one hardcover version would just ruin the set.

I spent like three hours at the BJ store yesterday, well, two and a half plus extra for traveling back and forth. The car guy said it would take an hour and a half, and it fucking didn't, so I ended up lounging out over the patio sets on display in the main store. I read the first chapter of Odd Hours there, which is how I know I need it.

Went over to Jen's last night because it was her birthday and there was a promise of food. We watched Disturbia, which I've seen like 14 thousand times already, but none of them had so that's what we watched. I didn't really mind, I guess, since I think it's a good movie. Promised food was actually Burger King, and I felt all rebellious and cool when I walked into the place, because I've been banned from the location for life, but the workers there don't really seem to be aware of that fact.

Also, the dog is here again, so I am having the worst time sleeping. This is also probably caused by the intense heat wave going through the area. Eighty degrees in the night time? Fuck that. This is Massachusetts, not Brazil. Get your temperatures right, World. I'm moving to Alaska. Somewhere where there's snow all year long.
